MANILA, Philippines — Wala umanong banta sa buhay si Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sinabi ito ni AFP spokesperson Col. Francel Margareth Padilla na sumasang-ayon sa naunang pahayag ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na wala silang namomonitor na banta sa seguridad ng Bise Presidente base sa kanilang assessment.
Ayon kay Padilla, sa ngayon ay nasa 400 AFP personel ang nakatalaga sa Vice President Security and Protection Group (VPSPG) na nasa ilalim ng hurisdiksyon ng Presidential Security Commission (PSC).
“Suffice to say that that would be enough because if need be, for example, may engagement like sa rally, magrerequest lang din sila and if hindi kaya suportahan ng PSC, may augmentation. ‘Yung PNP in the area will coordinate prior to the local security in the area,” sabi ni Padilla.
Nauna ng binawasan ng PNP ng 75 pulis ang security personnel na naka-assign kay Duterte dahil kinailangan umano itong i-deploy sa National Capital Region Police Office.
