CALASIAO, Pangasinan – A senior citizen died when he was hit by a sport utility vehicle (SUV) after falling off a tricycle in this town on Friday night.
Reports said the tricycle was rearended by a van, causing the victim to fall along the road in Barangay San Miguel at past 10 p.m.
The victim reportedly landed on the path of the SUV, whose driver failed to step on the brakes. He was declared dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City.
The drivers of the vehicles involved in the incident were brought to the police station for questioning.
