CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines —A 40-year-old businesswoman was shot dead by a lone assailant riding a motorcycle in General Trias City, Cavite on Saturday.
Police said the trader, identified only as Yza, was driving her e-bike when she was shot at close range by a man who was following her along a road in Sunny Brooke 1 in Barangay San Francisco.
Emergency responders rushed Yza to Gen. Trias Medicare Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
Investigators said Yza was shot twice in the head with a caliber .45 pistol.
