COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A man tagged in the murder of his parents and brother was arrested in Malaybalay, Bukidnon on Friday.
The arrest of John Andojon, 23, came almost four months after the incident occurred at the family’s home in Barangay Managok on May 21.
Andojon reportedly admitted that he used a hammer to kill his parents and his 14-year-old brother, according to Col. Jovit Culaway, Bukidnon police director.
Relatives said the suspect could be suffering from depression when he committed the crime. They said he failed to graduate in criminology due to academic issues.
