Iloilo City, Philippines — A 73-year-old woman and her daughter were found dead inside their property in Roxas City in Capiz yesterday morning.
The victims – identified only as Elma and Ruby Jean, 36 – were found bloodied at past 10 a.m. in the living room of their house located in Barangay Lanot.
Ruby Jean’s eight-year-old son sought the help of a relative in the neighborhood.
Investigation showed the victims were hit with a hard object in the head.
Lt. Col. Ricardo Jomuad, Roxas City police chief, said the attack could have occurred between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Probers said they found no signs of forcible entry.
Investigation is ongoing.
