Candelaria, Quezon, Philippines – A murder suspect in Batangas was arrested by Tiaong policemen after he was intercepted along the Maharlika Highway and apprehended for having in his possession an unlicensed gun.
Police Superintendent Renato Alba, chief of police here, idenified the suspect as Efren Bobadilla, 50, married, security guard, and a native of Barangay Tangway, Lipa City.
Police reports showed that around 7:30 a.m. Friday, the suspect was held by Tiaong policemen for possession of unlicensed firearm. Police confiscated from Babadilla a Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver with six live ammunition in its chamber.
Alba said Bobadilla was also charged for murder in Sitio, Sta. Rosa,Barangay Santol Mataas na Kahoy,Batangas and temporarily detained in the local Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). – Michelle Zoleta
