TMG chief Senior Superintendent Maximo Dilla said some 118 blinkers and sirens have been confiscated by TMG operatives.
"After a month, if there are no complainants, we will use the sirens and blinkers for our patrols. That way, the government, particularly the PNP, will be able to save some money," Dilla said.
Last Tuesday night, TMG officers flagged down the vehicles of Cavite Gov. Ireneo "Ayong" Maliksi and former National Labor Relation Commission (NLRC) Commissioner Roy Señeres.
Dilla said he and his men were manning a checkpoint in front of the Coastal Mall at the intersection of Roxas Boulevard and NAIA Road in Parañaque City when they stopped Maliksis Ford Expedition, which was being escorted by two Toyota Revo vans. The two escort vehicles had illegal blinkers. Cecille Suerte Felipe
