MANILA, Philippines - We would like to correct an earlier report that Ambassador Jesus P. Tambunting was one of those charged with tax evasion by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
The person being charged by the BIR is Jesus F. Tambunting. He is not the same person as former Ambassador and Plantersbank chairman and chief executive officer Jesus P. Tambunting.
Former Ambassador Tambunting is not a member of the Makati Rotary Club Foundation Inc.
