MANILA, Philippines — Former Kapamilya child actor Carl John Barrameda is now engaged to his girlfriend Nikolai Cimatu.
In his Instagram account, the former “Goin’ Bulilit” star posted photos of him proposing to his girlfriend.
“She said YES! I love you @nikolaicimatu,” Carl wrote.
His “Goin’ Bulilit” co-stars Igi Boy Flores, John Manalo, Eliza Pineda and Miles Ocampo congratulated him on his engagement.
Apart from being a comedian in the gag show, Carl also showed his acting chops in his role as Dodong in the defunct hit drama series, “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit.”
The soap opera was inspired by the 1970s film of the same title, produced and written by Fernando Poe Jr.
Meanwhile, in 2016, Nikolai won the Best Picture Award for her film "Tatang," which she wrote, directed and edited for the UST CFAD Sining Sine, the official movie-making contest of University of Santo Tomas’ College of Fine Arts and Design students. Her film also won the Viewer's Choice Award.
