MANILA, Philippines – Is Kathryn Bernardo also planning to become a concert artist like on screen partner Daniel Padilla?
This question came up during the launch of Kathryn's self-titled debut album on Tuesday.
It can be remembered that Daniel, also a recording artist with three albums to his name, staged two sold-out concerts at the Araneta Coliseum in 2012 and 2013.
The 18-year-old artist is not dismissing the possibility of having a concert, now that she has also delved into singing.
Further asked if she would want a concert in Araneta, Kathryn said: “Kung bigyan ako ng chance, why not, di ba?

Kathryn's self-titled album features eight songs, five of which are originals. She also made revivals of Heart Evangelista's “Love Has Come My Way,” Cris Villonco's “Crush ng Bayan” and Sharon Cuneta's “Mr. DJ.”
The album also features the song “Na Sa'Yo Din Pala,” a song written as an “answer” to Daniel Padilla's “Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat.” Both songs were written by Jungee Marcelo.
Kathryn describes the album as “very young, very sweet and very relaxing.”
The ABS-CBN artist said she went through singing lessons under Annie Quinto of The Company even before she started recording the album.
And very supportive naman po siya sa akin,” she said when asked about Daniel's reaction to her album.
The young actress is aware she can't please everyone with her new venture into music.
