Tablea chocolate cafe's 6th branch

Tablea Chocolate Cafe opened its first Mandaue branch, its sixth in less than 18 months. Inspired by tradition and perfected by passion, it is located at the JCentre Mall along A.S. Fortuna Street. Tablea Chocolate Cafe was created to celebrate and reintroduce a long-standing Filipino pastime of drinking "sikwate" or tablea.

Made of dried, roasted and ground pure cacao beans and formed into tablets, tableyas are traditionally used in the Philippines to make hot chocolate drink. Seeking to continue this Filipino tradition and at the same time bringing it to a whole new level, Tablea Chocolate Cafe creates high quality chocolate drinks and desserts, such as the cafe's best sellers: Chocolate con Churros, Tablea Ensaymada, Tablea Layer Cake, Silvanas and its signature chocolate-covered cacao beans. Not to mention the childhood classics like the champorado(thick chocolate rice pudding) and the sikwate.

"We are thrilled to continue our expansion by opening our sixth location in less than 18 months. We are equally excited to open our first Mandaue location and to be part of the beautiful and modern JCrntre Mall," quipped Tablea Chocolate Cafe founder Aya Garcia-Shlachter.
