International luxury brand Jewelmer celebrated the iconic golden South Sea pearl in Shanghai, China, through a once-in-a-lifetime event. Under the outstanding and remarkable leadership of Jewelmer group chairman Manuel Cojuangco, group president and CEO Jacques Branellec and EVP and deputy CEO Jacques Christophe Branellec, the jewelry powerhouse paid homage to its heritage and enduring legacy through a mini museum experience that took patrons through Jewelmer’s four decades of lustrous history. The exhibition showcased the distinctive style of the Maison as seen in its fi ne jewelry pieces. The guests enjoyed the live pearl grading station, a pearl talk, and a fashion show that featured the brand’s various stunning collections. As an extra treat, the attendees also received sketches of themselves wearing their desired Jewelmer piece to serve as a personalized memento from the event. 100 years of meaningful relations
Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary for Mindanao Uriel Norman Garibay, Davao City 1st District councilor Mabel Sunga- Acosta and Japanese consul general Yoshiaki Miwa lead the ceremonial toast at the 100th anniversary celebration of the Davao-Japan relations and the enthronement of His Imperial Majesty Naruhito held at Marco Polo Davao.

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Dr. Benjamin Diokno graced the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX)- Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) Joint General Membership Meeting as guest of honor and speaker. Held at Dusit Thani Manila and led by FINEX president lawyer Eusebio Tan and executive vice president Grace Palma-Tiongco together with MAP president Rizalina Mantaring, officers and members of the two organizations gathered as Diokno talked about the BSP’s new roadmap to a globally competitive economy and stable financial system. He was also inducted as a member of FINEX and MAP, together with other new members from the two organizations.
