Oil prices set for rollback after weeks of increases

MANILA, Philippines — Petroleum products are set to have a rollback, ending weeks of consecutive price increases since February 28. 

In separate advisories, diesel products of different oil firms will have a price decrease, ranging from P20 to P23 per liter. 

Gasoline and kerosene prices are also to have a price rollback. 

The following are the price reductions per oil firm on Tuesday, April 14:

Petron (to be implemented at 6 a.m.)

  • Gasoline: P 4.43 per liter
  • Diesel: P 20.89 per liter
  • Kerosene: P8.50 per liter 

PetroGazz (to be implemented at 6 a.m.)

  • Diesel: P20.95 per liter
  • Gasoline: P4.50 per liter

Jetti Petroleum (to be implemented at 6 a.m.)

  • Diesel: P2.70
  • Gasoline: no movement

Seaoil (to be implemented at 6 a.m.)

  • Gasoline: P4.43
  • Diesel: P20.89
  • Kerosene: P8.50

Flying V (to be implemented at 6 a.m.)

  • Biodiesel: P20.90 per liter
  • Gasoline:  P4.50 per liter
  • Kerosene: P8.50 per liter

This has been the first decrease in oil prices since the U.S.-Iran tensions started in February. 

However, despite the decrease, some petroleum products are still at P120 to P130 per liter.
