MANILA, Philippines - The peso climbed against the dollar midday Wednesday, settling at 43.305 from the previous day's 43.41.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $411.8 million in the morning, lower than the $476 million posted in the same period on Tuesday.
The peso opened Wednesday at 43.34.
