MANILA, Philippines — At the close of NCAA Season 99, the Perpetual Altas recorded nine championships from seven sports to underscore a dominant year.

The Altas Perp squad will also shoot for the crown in the Cheerleading Championship scheduled on June 19 at Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City, hoping to end a four-year title drought since the Arellano Chiefs squad won it four consecutive years.

The Junior Altas, for their part, dominated the girls’ indoor volleyball, 3x3 juniors basketball, boys’ table tennis plus track and field for back-to-back titles led by Rookie of the Year and Season MVP Marvin Ramos.

The Junior Altas collected a total of 804.5 points in 18 events to secure their second consecutive title.
