P3.4 million shabu seized in Taytay

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Around 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million were seized from two drug suspects in Taytay, Rizal on Thursday afternoon.

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Calabarzon and local police apprehended Alim Asraf, 24, alias Jamil, and Abdullatip Pahmudin, 20, both residents of Barangay San Juan.

Mary Ann Mahilom-Lorenzo, PDEA-Calabarzon public information officer, said the suspects are on the watchlist of the agency.

In Bulacan, three persons were arrested for alleged possession of 151 grams of shabu worth P1.02 million in San Ildefonso town.

Bulacan police chief Col. Jacquilie Puapo said the suspects, whom she did not identify, were apprehended in Barangay Pala-Pala.
