“Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.”— Henry Ward Beecher
A sit-down dinner hosted by your columnist was as warm and endearing as a meeting of old friends.
Held at Dusit Thani Manila, the affair was a modest gesture of gratitude to those who braved the ramp at a recent event where our guests took the time off from their busy schedules to rehearse for a “fashion show.”
Seen enjoying a taste of Japan at Dusit’s UMU restaurant were Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno, Embassy of Venezuela Chargé d’Affaires Yelitza Ventura Polanco, former Chilean Ambassador Roberto Mayorga, Monaco Consul General Fortune Ledesma, Villa Medica Philippines country director Suzette Lopez, Aficionado Germany Perfume and Joel Cruz Signatures president and CEO Joel Cruz and Wilcon Depot senior executive vice president and chief operating officer Rosemarie Ong.
Guests enjoyed the Japanese gastronomic journey — the most authentic recipes using the finest ingredients — at UMU. Everyone got to mingle and “hang out” again post-runway in a more relaxed gathering.
Our heartfelt thanks to general manager Alex Willats who never fails to add a personal touch to gatherings held at Dusit Thani Manila!
