MANILA, Philippines — There are an estimated 6,000 individuals who attended the rally in support of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, according to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
The latest crowd estimate was recorded at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.

Members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) religious sect started their program at the EDSA Shrine at 9 a.m.
There are also 2,500 personnel from the QCPD deployed in the area.
This was an increase from the earlier crowd estimate of 4,500.
On June 30, despite the INC’s rally being a surprise and without a permit, the religious group had an estimated 15,000 individuals in attendance.
This was in support of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, who may face plunder charges over his campaign donations in the 2025 elections.
As of writing, there has yet to be information on whether the INC will extend its protest in the following days.
