MANILA, Philippines – Is long-time ABS-CBN star Ai Ai delas Alas moving to rival network GMA-7?
Reports say the comedienne is currently in talks with GMA-7 executives to star in one of their upcoming shows.
In an interview with Pilipino Star Ngayon, GMA-7 Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV Lily Rasonable confirmed the network will talk to Ai Ai for a possible project with the network.
She noted, however, that formal negotiations with Ai Ai are yet to begin.
“Kasi ‘di ba galing siya sa abroad. Nagugulat nga kami kung saan nanggagaling ‘yung tapos na ang pag-uusap,” Rasonable told Pilipino Star Ngayon.
Ai Ai has been with ABS-CBN since the late 90s and has starred in a number of shows for the network such as the soap opera “My Binondo Girl,” “Toda Max” and “Dyesebel.”
The network also remains mum on rumors that former ABS-CBN and TV5 star Willie Revillame will make a TV comeback in GMA-7. Reports claim that Willie will buy airtime on GMA-7 for a Sunday afternoon game show.
GMA-7 network executives refuse to give info on the said report, saying “top management” handles the network block timers such as the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” and the Saturday drama anthology program “Bandila.”
