Rosendo relates in his letter that now he has been hearing Mass "matag udto" through the CCTN even if he lives in a remote area of Misamis Oriental. He said his tv set was a gift to him by a member of the Knights of Columbus in Cagayan de Oro. Rosendo is a farmer.

OVERHEARD. In a recent international cooking competition in Hong Kong, Macau wrapped up two gold medals. Their winning entries were called premium dishes. Not Lutong Macau...It says here that a pedicab driver in Manila died after being hit by a stray bullet in the head. An Ear reader who passed this info on to this column said the driver could've been saved had he been wearing a crash helmet.
