USC Baby Warriors grab U12 crown in Don Bosco Friendship Games
CEBU, Philippines — The University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors emerged as champions in the 12 Under division of the Don Bosco Invitational Friendship Games at the Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC)-Cebu Gym in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City recently.
USC stormed past the DBTC Greywolves, 66-43, in a lopsided all-Cebu final to clinch the title of the two-day tournament that was also participated in by teams from Cagayan de Oro and Ormoc City.
Nicolai Anlon Cabañero was named Most Valuable Player. He was joined in the Mythical Five by his teammate Pairaqlus Pareja.
Under the guidance of head coach Dominic Cabañero, the other members of the USC U12 champion team include William Igay, Clarence Hernandez, Kristoff Bernabe, Lord Antona, Sean Amores, Daniel Canedo, Aaron Ferraren, Colin Malicay, and Alexys Ocaña. – EBV
