ADA Cebu strikes golden double at Philippine Football Cup

CEBU, Philippines — ADA Cebu, a rising football team under the Azkals Development Academy banner, secured two golden crowns in the recently concluded 2025 Milo Philippine Football Cup at the Clark Parade Grounds in Clark Freeport Zone.
Showcasing discipline, talent, and teamwork against top youth teams from across the country, ADA Cebu’s young and promising booters under the guidance of coaches Warlloo Sabella and Sheba Castañares reigned supreme in both the Under 15 and Under 16 categories during the national tournament.
In the U15 battle, ADA Cebu completed a clean sweep in the group stage and knockout matches, netting a total of eight goals while conceding only two on the way to clinch the title undefeated.
The U15 champions include Lance Omega, Ben Flanders, Kaius Otero, Frank Alvarado, Levi Omega, Marq Dy, Rainier Watin, Chico Lanza, Calix Aguilar, Caleb Aguilar, Michael McKellar, and Ari Godornes.
Not to be outdone, the U16 players mirrored the remarkable performance of their younger counterparts. They nailed three wins and two draws in the group stage before dispatching the PAF Youth team, 2-0, in the semifinals to set up an all-Cebu finale against Cebu United.
After the regulation period ended in a goalless draw, ADA Cebu showed nerves of steel in pulling off a 3-2 cliffhanger over Cebu United in the penalty shootout to emerge as champions.
The U16 roster featured Nathan Tan, Jake Flanders, Ben Flanders, Lance Omega, Frank Alvarado, Zavier Castañares, Travis Colina, Clark Flores, Austin Roperos, Morton Baldoza, Kaius Otero, and Rainier Watin.
