GlobalDev outclassed CM Farm, 92-82, in their sudden-death final match to pocket the P200,000 grand prize of the six-day cage wars last Friday evening, December 6, at the Hoops Dome in Barangay Gun-ob.
Rheinhard Jumamoy spearheaded GlobalDev’s charge to title glory that earned him the Finals MVP honors.
Jumamoy, a mainstay of the National University (NU) Bulldogs in the UAAP, also made it to the elite Mythical 5 together with Steve Nash Enriquez, Kint Ariar, Tansiong Bonganciso, and William Mcaloney.
Genmar Bragais bagged the Conference MVP award. His CM Farm team took home P100,000 for finishing as first runner-up.
Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan and Congresswoman Cindi King-Chan graced the awarding ceremony together with the members of the City Council, ABC President and Basak Barangay Captain Jasmine Marie Chan, SK Federation President Orlan Joseph Chan-Carungay, and Lapu-Lapu City Sports Commissioner Vince Chan-Carungay.
