Joher extends perfect start to 8-0
CEBU, Philippines — Joher Transport and Logistics slammed the MEQ Builders, 73-62, to remain unbeaten in Hoops Arlon Cup Season 2 at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
King Osabel cashed in 19 points on top of eight rebounds and one steal as Joher firmed up its grip of the solo lead with an immaculate 8-0 slate.
On the other hand, Team CK thrashed Parokya Ni Edgar, 113-76, for its eighth win against only one setback.
Samsam Gullas led CK’s charge with 25 points, five assists, and three steals.
In the other results, Team JSA subdued S.I.V, 88-83, while the Trojan Warriors crushed Cupin Compound, 97-83.
TJ Minoza scattered 21 points, five rebounds, and six assists as JSA improved to 5-1 while Gino Sollano fired 34 points on top of eight rebounds and three steals to power the Trojan Warriors to their sixth victory in eight games. — EBV
