CEBU, Philippines - Roniel Pedroza outlasted back-to-back winner Steve Montenegro to rule the latest edition of the City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA) Open Singles Tournament at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.
Alex Raboy landed at third place behind Pedroza and Montenegro, while Rodmar Branzuela settled for fourth.
Jun Monsanto and Alvin Villa were at joint fifth and sixth spot followed by Jerome Perales and Shane Ortega.
Montenegro missed what could have been his his third title in a row, but stayed on top of the overall standings with 28 points.
Pedroza, for his part, occupies the temporary second spot with 19 points followed by Rodmar Branzuela with 16 points.
The fourth to 15th in the rankings were Alvin Villa with eight points, Doging Saveron, Reyden Colina and Alex Raboy with six points each, Wenie Abella, Christopher Mariot, Pong Tobes, Nonon Aguilar, Caloy Narita and Jun Monsato with two points and Jerome Perales and Shane Ortega with a point each.---(FREEMAN)
