CEBU, Philippines — Another private hospital in Cebu City is now accredited with the City’s Hospitalization Assistance and Medicines Program (CHAMP).
This as CHAMP is also working on another partnership aimed to help more less fortunate Cebuanos who need medical assistance.
CHAMP head Regina Mercedes Lingaolingao, through the City’s News and Information team, confirmed that Miller General Hospital is now accredited with them.
This now brings to six hospitals that are accredited with CHAMP.
The rest includes the Cebu City Medical Center, Chong Hua Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, Ace Medical Center, and St. Vincent General Hospital.
CHAMP is also working with the Visayas Medical Center for accreditation and is expected to be finalized soon.
Before other accredited hospitals accept patients availing assistance from CHAMP, CCMC is the first go-to hospital, unless the patient cannot be accommodated there.
CHAMP also reminds the public that only a portion of the patient’s total hospital bill could be reimbursed and this excludes the doctor’s professional fee. (CEBU NEWS)
