CEBU, Philippines - Close to P400,000 worth of cash and valuables were stolen by burglars in a house in Barangay Talamban, Cebu City.

The house, owned by the family of Dale Tudtud, was reportedly burglarized early morning Tuesday.

The owner's daughter, Daphnee, called the Talamban Police Station to report the incident.

Daphnee told the police that their helper noticed around 5:30 a.m. that the sliding window of the room of her employer was open.

Based on the investigation of the police, the culprits passed through the fence then gained entry into the house by forcibly destroying the sliding window of the room.

The perpetrators took P300,000 cash and important documents, as well as stereo, jewelry and watches worth P75, 000.
