MANILA, Philippines - Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables turned in a six-game series of 1312 to cop the Group I crown while Abe Firmeza of Energetix took the Group 2 title with a 1082 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the E Lanes in Greenhills, San Juan last week.
Jimmy Ocampo of Duraflex TW Wires scored a 1305, Boyet Libiran of American Cables had a 1297 while Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard turned in a 1284 for second, third and fourth places, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Violy Magsakay of Boysen Virtuoso had a 1075, Edjing San Juan of Emerald Pipes made a 1050 and Ricky Martinez of Coach Furnitures came up with a 1028 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively in Group 2.
The tournament, backed by DN Steel, Mirag Trading, Moldex Pipes, August Alliance, WeKonstruct, HCG Phils., Spurway, Glass Asia, Dwight Steel, Greystone, Morning Sun, JS Alvarez, Concrete Ventures, Crown Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables, Duraflex THHN/THW Wires, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the Circuit Doubles, also at E Lanes.
