MANILA, Philippines - Seventy aspirants have already signed up for the Philippine Basketball League (PBL) Rookie Camp slated Nov. 10 at the Jose Rizal University gym.
Leading the list are La Salle’s Hyram Bagatsing and Nikko Hubalde of Emilio Aguinado College. The six-hour activity starts at 8 a.m.
The number of participants, however, is expected to double on camp day.
However, only 25 years old and below on Nov. 7, 2009 will be allowed to join the rookie draft also scheduled this month.
PBL executive director Butch Maniego also advised the participants to bring two-set of jerseys - dark and light - during the camp.
Players may send their applications online to pbl2010draft@gmail.com and should have PBL 2010 Draft in the subject line. Information to be submitted must include name, address, date of birth, place of Birth, citizenship, school or university he is currently playing for or had last attended, year of high school graduation and name of high school attended plus other pertinent contact details such as home and cellphone numbers.
