BEST holds SBP, Passerelle tilts

MANILA, Philippines – The Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center (BEST Center) is calling on school teams who are interested in joining this year’s Small Basketeers Philippines (SBP)-Passerelle tournaments to an organizational meeting tomorrow at the Quezon City Sports Club.

The BEST Center, founded by long-time youth basketball development pioneer Nic Jorge more than 30 years ago, said the tournament is open to teams from both private and public schools.

The tournament, now on its 24th year, will be held at the Xavier School Sports Complex.

Jorge, also secretary general of the Basketball Association of the Philippines, Inc. (BAPI), said interested squads can send representatives to an organizational meeting set at 3 p.m.
