Four incumbent Bacolod councilors, three former councilors and a broadcaster took their oaths as members of LP before 3rd District Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, LP-Negros Occidental provincial chairman, at the Bacolod Pavilion Hotel Friday.
They were Councilors Sonya Verdeflor, Archie Baribar, Elmer Sy and Catalino Alisbo, former councilors Juan Ramon Guanzon, Ana Marie Palermo and Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, and broadcaster Marlon Solidum.
Present at the oath-taking were LP member and former Bacolod councilor El Cid Familiaran, LP-Bacolod chairman Frank Carbon and former LP-Bacolod chairman, lawyer Andres Hagad.
Those who took their oaths are among those expected to be included in the LP slate for 2013, Carbon said.
