Quezon City hall employees magpapakita ng husay sa ‘RePorma’
MANILA, Philippines — Bilang bahagi ng 1 week celebration ng Earth Day, magpapakita ng bagong disenyo ang mga empleyado ng Quezon City hall gamit ang mga lumang damit.
Sa temang RePorma: QC Hall Employees Clothes Swapping Event, ipakikita ng mga empleyado ang kanilang husay sa paggamit ng mga lumang damit upang maging moderno.
“Not everyone realizes that we have long been fighting textile pollution caused by fast fashion. Reusing and repurposing old clothes—or ‘pinaglumaan’—has always been part of our Filipino culture. Now more than ever, we must revive and promote this practice, especially among the youth,” ani QC Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Suportado ni Belmonte ang recycling gayundin ang pagpapatupad ng single-use plastics at disposable materials sa city hall premises at facilities.
