Barko ng Pinas at China, nagbanggaan sa Ayungin Shoal
MANILA, Philippines — Nagbanggaan kahapon ng umaga ang barko ng Philippne Coast Guard at China Coast Guard sa Ayungin Shoal na isang submerged reef sa may Spratly Islands sa West Philippine Sea.
Batay sa pahayag ng CCG, binalewala umano ng resupply ship ng Pilipinas ang paulit-ulit na babala ng China.
Inakusahan din nito ang barko ng Pilipinas na lumapit sa unprofessional na paraan na nagresulta umano sa banggaan.
Pinaratangan din ng CCG ang barko ng Pilipinas na ilegal umanong pumasok sa karagatan malapit sa Ayungin shoal.
Iginiit ng CCG na nagsagawa umano sila ng control measures laban sa barko ng Pilipinas alinsunod sa batas.
Subalit ayon sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), panlilinlang at panlilito ang pahayag ng CCG na kasalanan ng barko ng Pilipinas ang nangyaring banggaan.
Ayon kay AFP spokesperson Col. Xerxes Trinidad, ang tunay na isyu ay ang iligal na presensiya ng Chinese vessels sa Exclusive Economic Zone ng Pilipinas kabilang ang Ayungin Shoal kung saan matagal nang nakadaong ang barko ng Philippine Navy na tinatauhan ng mga Pilipino.
“The AFP will not discuss operational details on the legal humanitarian rotation and resupply mission at Ayungin Shoal, which is well within our EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone),” ani Trinidad.
