BOC sinalakay ang warehouse na may nakaimbak na P900 milyong smuggled luxury vehicles
The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Thursday discovered P1.4 billion worth of smuggled luxury cars — including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maybach, and Maserati—stored in warehouses in Pasay and Parañaque during an operation led by its Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS).

MANILA, Philippines — Tinatayang aabot sa P900 milyon halaga ng mga smuggled na sasakyan ang natuklasan sa ginawang pagsalakay  ng mga tauhan ng Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service-Manila International Container Port (CIIS-MICP) sa isang warehouse sa Taguig City.

Ayon kay Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Bien Rubio, nakumpiska sa nasabing warehouse ang 44 na unit ng smuggled luxury cars, na kinabibilangan ng Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce, at iba.

Sinabi ni CIIS Director Verne Enciso, natuklasan ang mga sasakyan sa loob ng Auto Vault Speed Shop sa Levi Mariano Ave., Brgy. Ususan, Taguig City.

Isinilbi ng mga ahente ng CIIS-MICP ang Letter of Authority (LOA) sa may-ari o kinatawan ng shop at kabilang sa nakita sa warehouse ang 2 units ng Ferrari 488, 2 units ng Mercedes Benz C Class, at iba pa.

Inatasan naman ni Customs Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence Group Juvymax Uy ang mga ahente ng BOC na lalo pang maging mapagmatyag laban sa mga smuggler.

Ang unang dalawang pagsalakay ay sa mga warehouse sa Parañaque City, Pasay City, at Makati City.
