Thai team tumersera sa AVC

MANILA, Philippines — Inangkin ng Nakhon Ratchasima QminC ng Thailand ang bronze medal matapos talunin ang Baic Motor ng China, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, sa 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Champions Cup kahapon sa PhilSports Arena sa Pasig City.

Ito ang ikalawang sunod na podium finish ng mga Thai spikers sa AVC matapos pumangatlo noong naka­raang taon.

Humataw si Greek import Evangelia Chantava ng 22 points mula sa 19 attacks, isang block at dalawang service aces para pangunahan ang Nakhon Ratchasima.

Nagdagdag si American import Anyse Marlee Smith ng 16 markers habang may 14 points si Sasipapron Janthawisut.

Pinangunahan naman ni Ye Jin ang Baic Motor sa kanyang 23 points kasunod ang 17 markers ni Shan Lanfeng.

Ibinulsa ng Thailand squad ang $10,000 at $5,000 ang nakuha ng Chinese team bilang fourth-placer.
