National Sports Stakeholders Forum idinaos sa Cebu ng PSC

MANILA, Philippines – Nagdaos ang Philippine Sports Commission ng National Sports Stakeholders Forum sa Crown Regency Hotel sa Cebu kahapon na magtatapos nga-yon na inaasahang tumipon ng tinatayang 300 sports stakeholders mula sa local government units sa buong bansa at kinatawan ng Department of Education.

Ayon kay PSC Chairman Ricardo Garcia, ang idea ay galing sa mga partners ng PSC mula sa iba’t ibang rehiyon dahil may mga usap-usapan  ukol sa kasalukuyang programa ng Komisyon para sa mga LGUs at pag-i-incorporate ng sports sa edukasyon.

Makakasama ng PSC board of commissioners ang mga panauhin mula sa Philippine Olympic Committee, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Education at 300-participants mula sa iba’t ibang regions, provinces  & municipalities sa pangunguna ni host city mayor Michael Rama.

“The response has been encouraging.  We hope that this forum would serve as a good stage to institutionalize some very worthy systems to unify our national efforts for  sports development,” ani Garcia.
