Leila de Lima tumindig sa demanda ni Nadine sa bashers!
MANILA, Philippines — Nagsampa ng reklamo si Nadine Lustre sa paglabag sa Safe Spaces Act sa gitna ng diumano’y “walang tigil at malisyosong pag-atake” laban sa kanya sa social media.
Bagama’t walang detalye sa reklamo o impormasyon kung anong malisyosong pag-atake ‘yun.
At mabilis ang suporta ng bagong panalong partylist representative, si Leila de Lima at sinabi kung gaano kahalaga ang pagsasagawa ng legal na aksyon ng aktres sa panahong ginagamit ang social media para “patahimikin ang mga nagsasalita para sa katarungan at reporma.”
Tinulungan ni Nadine si former Justice secretary Leila de Lima noong mangampanya ito para sa ML na kabilang sa mga nanalong partylist sa nakalipas na midterm elections.
Ayon sa uupo sa Kongreso: “We at ML Partylist express full support for Nadine Lustre as she files a complaint for violation of the Safe Spaces Act in response to the relentless and malicious attacks she has endured.
“This is a necessary step in a time when social media is being used to silence voices that speak for justice and reform. Ginagamit ang mga plataporma para buwagin ang makabuluhang diskurso at palitan ito ng galit at paninira,” unang bahagi ng statement ni former Sec. De Lima.
Dagdag pa niya : “We believe in freedom of expression. Pero ang kalayaang ito ay hindi dapat gamitin laban sa katotohanan, dignidad, at demokrasya. Expression becomes dangerous when it is driven by disinformation and personal malice.
“Marami sa mga lumalabas sa social media ngayon ay hindi maituturing na opinyon. These are part of deliberate effort to harass, discredit, and instill fear. May masamang intensyon. May malinaw na layunin na patahimikin ang mga tumitindig.”
At kung paano sila sinuportahan ni Nadine noong kampanya, ganundin ang ipinahayag na suporta ng ML sa actress: “We support Nadine. Her case is a stand for truth and accountability. Make no mistake: we will push back against this kind of behavior. Hindi ito katanggap-tanggap. Hindi ito dapat palampasin.”
Sa huli ay nagpasalamat pa siya kay Nadine na kilalang hindi nagpapaapi : “Maraming salamat, Nadine, sa tapang at paninindigan. Sa bawat hakbang mo, mas lumalakas ang laban para sa isang makatao, makatarungan, at demokratikong lipunan.”
Hindi na bago kay Nadine ang pulitika. Consistent siya sa pagtindig sa mga maiinit at pinag-uusapang mga problema ng bayan.
Kaya nga tinawag pa siyang President Nadine.

Nagsampa naman ng criminal complaint ang GMA Network, Inc. para sa estafa with abuse of confidence laban sa mga opisyal ng Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE) para sa diumano’y maling paggamit ng pondo nito na may kabuuang ?37,941,352.56.
Ayon sa inilabas na official statement ng GMA kahapon:
Ang reklamo, na inihain sa Office of the City Prosecutor ng Quezon City, ay pinangalanan ang mga sumusunod na executive ng TAPE bilang mga respondent: Romeo Jalosjos, Jr. (dating presidente at CEO), Romeo Jalosjos, Sr. (Chairman of the Board), Seth Frederick “Bullet” Jalosjos (Treasurer), Malou Choa-Fagar (dating COO at CEO), Michaela Magtoto (former Senior Vice President for Finance) at Finance Consultant Zenaida Buenavista.
“The complaint stems from respondents’ failure to remit advertising revenues collected from clients, which had been contractually assigned to GMA Network under a 2023 Assignment Agreement. Despite multiple formal demands, the funds were not transferred to GMA because they were instead used for TAPE’s operational expenses, in violation of the trust arrangement outlined in the agreement,” bahagi ng official statement ng GMA kahapon.
“GMA Network is pursuing legal action to hold the responsible officers accountable and to recover the misappropriated amount.”
Nag-react kami sa legal counsel ng TAPE na si Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque at sinabi niyang : “I called TAPE about the article published at GMA news but they did not know anything about it. I directed one of the alleged respondents in said case to go to the office of the city prosecutor of Quezon City to check on the case but she was informed that no case was filed against them by GMA. Thus, they were surprised of said news article,” sabi niya.
“Anyway, TAPE has not received any copy of the complaint filed against them. They will issue a statement as soon as they received a copy of the complaint, if indeed there is. Rest assured that they will follow and respect the legal proceedings,” ang buong mensahe ni Atty. Maggie.
Maging si Ms. Malou Choa-Fagar na retired employee ng TAPE ay no comment nang hingan namin ng reaction o komento sa pagkakasama ng kanyang pangalan sa demanda.
