Zsa Zsa, pagpapakatotoo ang payo sa mga baguhan
Sa 42 years na showbiz career ni Zsa Zsa Padilla, hindi lang siya naging Divine Diva dahil sa kanyang classic hit singles na Kahit Na, Hiram, Ikaw Lamang at Minsan Pa na laging inaawit sa mga videoke bar, kundi nagpakita rin siya ng husay sa pag-arte.
Nagwagi ng ilang acting awards para sa mga pelikulang Batang PX, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, Sigwa, Ako Legal Wife: Mano Po 4? at M: Mother’s Maiden Name.
Nabigyan siya ng sarili niyang drama anthology sa ABS-CBN 2 na Star Drama Theater Presents Zsa Zsa in 1994 at naging box-office star siya dahil sa pagbida niya sa musical-comedy film na ZsaZsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh in 2006.
Sa edad na 60, thankful siya sa naging journey niya sa entertainment business.
“ I really feel blessed. Whenever I perform now, and still feel that same spark I had when I was starting out- is what keeps me going. That connection with people - it never gets old. I’m honestly just full of gratitude.”
Advice niya sa mga baguhan sa showbiz: “Be real. People can feel it when you’re genuine. You can try all sorts of reinventions, but if you’re not being true to yourself, it won’t stick. This industry can be hard, so you have to be strong, but also kind… especially to yourself.”
Ngayong May 17, mapapanood ang Divine Diva sa kanyang anniversary concert na Through the Years at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati.
