Valdez hanga sa Thunderbelles

MANILA, Philippines —  Saludo si Creamline team captain Alyssa Valdez sa husay ng Zus Thunderbelles na itinuturing na isa sa posibleng umangat sa Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Unti-unti nang lumalabas ang bangis ng Thunderbelles matapos pahirapan ang Cool Smashers sa kanilang huling laro kung saan umabot ang laban sa limang sets.

Nanalo ang Creamline na may mas malalim na karanasan.

Kaya naman nakuha nito ang atensiyon ni Valdez kung saan naniniwala itong malaki ang potensiyal ng Thunderbelles na posibleng maging title contender.

“Zus brought their A game. They played so well, we’re just very happy and blessed that we won, and it’s anybody’s game, especially in that fifth set, we’re lucky we got it,” ani Valdez.

Nanguna para sa Thunderbelles si UAAP Best Middle Blocker awardee at PVL Rookie Draft top pick Thea Gagate na isa sa mga sinasandalan ng tropa.

Maliban sa talento, nakita ni Valdez ang dedikasyon ng Thunderbelles sa laro.

“Honestly, I think more than anything I saw their grit. I saw that they won’t go down without a fight. You know they’re a young team. I guess, one of the things that I saw is their grit, and their attitude that even their one of the youngest teams, they’ll fight for pride and honor,” ani Valdez.
