“Host countries always win or finish in the top places, whenever they take their turn. It’s time for the SEA Games Federation countries to review this  practice and accept the POC option of instituting Olympic events in the next editions of the Games to ensure fairness among competitors and help raise the level of Olympic standards in the region,” ani Escudero.

“There is nothing much we could do now but give our best in the events we are participating in,” pahayag ng Senador. “But there should no longer be any more blaming games, no more fault hunting. The PSC had conditioned the minds of sports fans. Enough of that, already. Let us all move on and do our jobs well.”
