Fashionable Final Battle

Finalists of the Skechers Streetstylers do not only show their swag in streetdance but also in fashion.

MANILA, Philippines - Dancing is always a great form of creative expression. This became evident at the recently concluded Skechers Streetdance 8 Final Battle held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The event was hosted by Gab Valenciano and Sam YG.

The venue was packed with enthusiastic high school and college students who all witnessed a grand showcase of funky dance moves, pulsating beats and lots of awesome fashion.

Among the many highlights of the night’s event were the Skechers Streetdance Battle 8’s most fashionable dancers. With lots of edgy street-dance fashion on display, the people behind the shoe brand had a hard time choosing who would make it to the final cut for the Skechers Streetstylers final face-off.

A total of 12 dancers were chosen to vie for the title. They were Kane de Guzman of St. Mark’s Institute; Jan Angelo Ong of Xavier School; Chester Fermon Esguerra of PATTS College of Aeronautics; Romeo Buenaventura of De La Salle University-Manila; Louries Dhztine Flores Bernardino of Far Eastern University-Manila; Hiroyuki Shiki of Bulacan State University; Rochelle Estinopo of St. Mark’s Institute; Amiel Garces of Miriam College High School; Riji Ann Mae Canog of University of the Philippines-Los Baños; Rachelle Baliao of University of Asia & the Pacific; Jancis Alysa Petalver of Assumption College and Keisha Garcia of De La Salle-Canlubang.

Through the Streetstylers Fashion Show, the event’s most fashionable strutted on stage in their best street-style fashion by Skechers. While it was tough to choose just one male and one female dancer to win the contest, in the end, it was Amiel Garces of Miriam College High School and Hiroyuki Shiki of Bulacan State University who ended up winning the grand prize of P10,000 worth of Skechers shoes and Skechers Time watches.
