Rumors
It seems the Milwaukee Bucks, as reported, could be entertaining offers for their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo and not to the surprise many, several teams are showing interest in the Greek Freak. But Milwaukee should not rush things so they can get more bucks, pun intended, in return for their franchise player.
Portland, Cleveland, Orlando, Miami, Boston and Oklahoma had shown interest but among these teams, the Thunder could be a dark horse with their surplus of assets. Reportedly, Giannis is leaning towards the Celtics.
LeBron James is an unrestricted free agent, and the LA Lakers probably won’t be spending another $45 million on him. It’s Luka Doncic’s time in LA and Austin Reaves is pushing for the 5-year, $240 million max deal. Definitely, LBJ won’t be LAL’s priority.
The Golden State Warriors are planning to get LBJ in free agency. They may not be able to offer him max money, but he can be teammates with his close friend Draymond Green. Warrior fans would be anticipating another title run with LBJ, Green, Stephen Curry, Kristaps Porzingis and Jimmy Butler. It was claimed that Curry will be trying to recruit LBJ.
The Lakers are joining the rumor mill, and a potential scenario will send DeAndre Ayton and Jarred Vanderbilt to Milwaukee for Myles Turner. He will significantly improve LAL’s frontcourt as not only he’s a versatile scorer, but Turner is also one of the league’s elite shot blockers.
The Sacramento Kings are reported to be looking for trade partners as they plan to deal center Domantas Sabonis and his $45 million salary which is due to him next season. He underwent knee surgery which ended his season and had appeared in only 19 games. The Kings had traded away stars like Tyrese Haliburton and De’Aaron Fox, and it looks like they’re ready to move on without Sabonis.
Despite an injury-plagued career, Sabonis is one of the NBA ‘s top offensive centers. His rebounding and passing skills make him an attractive target and the Toronto Raptors are said to have a strong interest in him.
The 2025-2026 season could be the last of the Ja Morant era in Memphis and he was linked to Phoenix, Orlando, Miami, Sacramento, Chicago and Minnesota for a potential deal. His All-Star numbers notwithstanding, perhaps the Grizzlies had gotten tired of his off-court antics.
