Mandaluyong bettor wins P331 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Mandaluyong City won the jackpot in the Grand Lotto 6/55 amounting to P331.3 million on Saturday.

Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and vice chairman of the PCSO board, said the winner guessed the six-digit combination 30-29-42-28-02-43, which carried a total prize of P331,359,271.20.

The winner bought the ticket at a lotto outlet in Kalentong, Mandaluyong.

There were 28 second prize winners who will receive P100,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on lotto winnings higher than P10,000.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
