President Marcos names Calinisan as Napolcom vice chair

MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has appointed Rafael Vicente Calinisan as the new vice chairman and executive officer of the National Police Commission, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed yesterday.

Prior to his appointment, Calinisan served as executive director of the Quezon City People’s Law Enforcement Board.

In a Facebook post, Calinisan expressed gratitude to Marcos for trusting him, calling the appointment a “significant milestone” in his career.

Calinisan’s term will end on Dec. 31, 2030.
