3 wounded in Zamboanga grenade attack

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Three people were injured in a grenade attack in Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte on Monday.
Arnold Lubaton, 69, allegedly an aide of a political candidate, and his companions Renel and Honeylete Labina, 33, were resting in his house in Barangay San Jose when an unidentified man hurled a grenade into the property at around 2 p.m., according to Capt. Ricky Acas, acting chief of the Kalawit police.
The victims were wounded in different parts of their bodies and were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Probers have yet to determine if the incident was election-related.
