MANILA, Philippines — A missing person in Caloocan has been found dead, with police searching for a tattoo artist tagged as a person of interest.

Michael Dolina, 37, had been missing for three days before authorities found his body in a house in Barangay Bagong Silang.

The victim’s severed leg was found in an ice cooler and his body was wrapped in a mattress, police said over the weekend.

The suspect reportedly lived in the house where Dolina’s remains were found.

Police are also looking at the tattoo artist’s uncle – a construction worker – as a person of interest.

Dolina and the suspect could have been drinking at the time of the incident, according to Capt. Nelson Dizon, assistant chief of the investigation and detective management section of the Caloocan police.

Murder charges will be filed against the suspects.

Dolina’s remains are set to be brought to his family’s home in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
