4 dead, 13 injured in General Santos road accident

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Four people died while 13 others, including three children, were injured after a pick-up truck collided with a van in Barangay Apopong, General Santos City on Sunday.

General Santos police identified the fatalities as van driver Rasol Angkob Adam and passengers Mambai Adam Dimaraw, Mona Salilaguia and Bai Intan Abdullah.

Brig. Gen. Arnold Ardiente, Police Regional Office-12 director, said the truck, driven by Harvey Collado, veered in the direction of the van, which was heading to Cotabato City.

Four truck passengers and eight from the van were also seriously injured and are being treated at a hospital.
