4 caught with P34 million shabu in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines — Five kilos of shabu valued at P34 million were confiscated by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bagumbong, Caloocan on Sunday night.
Four suspects were nabbed at a house at Kingstown 2 Subdivision in Barangay 171.
The PDEA’s National Capital Region field unit said the suspects negotiated a drug deal with anti-narcotics agents who posed as buyers.
The suspects identified only as Sammy, Amy, Ai and Ferds allegedly received bundles of marked money, which signaled the PDEA agents to arrest them.
Recovered from the suspects were five foil packs containing shabu, cell phones and identification cards.
The suspects are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
