MANILA, Philippines —  Motorists who are issued traffic citation tickets by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority can now dispute these violations online, the MMDA announced over the weekend.

The MMDA has launched a QR code and a link on its official social media accounts, allowing motorists to fill out an online form and upload a copy of their traffic violation tickets.

The initiative aims to streamline the appeals process, eliminating the need for motorists to personally visit MMDA offices and wait in long lines.

According to MMDA records, the agency resolved 62 complaints in 2024. Appeals can be submitted from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The MMDA encourages motorists to take advantage of the online platform for a faster and more convenient resolution of their complaints.
