Police, PDEA seize P3.7 million shabu in Zamboanga Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Anti-narcotics and police agents arrested three people, including a government employee, for selling P3.7 million worth of shabu in separate drug stings on Wednesday in Zamboanga Sibugay.
Police said suspected drug traders Cesar Manalo and Alkaber Mohammad Bahari were arrested after selling 11 sachets of shabu, weighing 550 grams and with a market value of P3.74 million to agents in Barangay Kasanyangan.
In Imelda town, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives also arrested a government utility driver during a sting in Barangay Santa Fe Poblacion.
Maharani Gadauni-Tosoc, PDEA-9 director, said the suspect, identified as alias Kenneth, sold shabu to a government agent late Wednesday.
